Lisa Martin has been capped by Scotland a massive 50 times and along the way has captained her country for two years.

After representing Scotland U16s, U18s and Scotland A, the fly-half made her full international debut in 2010 during the Rugby World Cup in England.

Half a century of caps later, she led Scotland during three 6 Nations campaigns including Scotland’s first ever away win to Ireland and was one of the first ever female players to be offered a contract to play for Scotland professionally. She has also represented and captained Scotland in Sevens.

Lisa has also been a significant club player, playing for some of the biggest clubs out there including Saracens, where she won the Premiership in 2022, as well Murrayfield Wanderers, DMP Sharks and Lille Metrpoloe.

Lisa still plays rugby but now is also an accomplished media broadcaster working for the likes of BBC TV, BBC 5 Live, BBC Scotland on men’s and women’s international and domestic rugby.
